Circus Poster

Strongmen, Zanies, and a Bear wearing suspenders! Brush up on your ABC's with this death defying poster featuring 26 different marvels and oddities of the Circus. Each letter of the alphabet is paired with a custom illustration from our friend Lydia Nichols and accompanied by a fun fact you can use to impress your friends.

For instance, did you know that capturing a photo of an elephant with its trunk lifted high in the air at a Circus is thought to mean good fortune for the run of the show. Or that a gentleman named Anthony Gatto is widely considered to be the world's greatest juggler. When he was only nine years old, he was a world-class juggling prodigy and began performing in Las Vegas by the age of ten.

This poster is an 18x24, 4-color, Limited Edition screenprint on French Lemon Drop paper. It is hand numbered in an edition of 500 and every poster is printed by hand, in the USA, one color at a time – one sheet at a time. We take tremendous care in every poster we make and pride ourselves on our process of how we make them.

Illustrated in collaboration with Lydia Nichols. Carnival trivia written by Jordan Wittlich.
